The NERC funded GWatt project was coming to an end. We have been studying the Porthtowan fault zone in Cornwall as a reservoir for deep geothermal energy. A final dissemination workshop was held with project partners and industry. Led by Dr. Robin Shail from Camborne School of Mines we also had a final field visit to look at granite hosted fault zone outcrops near Land’s End. Wonderful landscape!
