Together with colleagues from The Institute of GeoEnergy Engineering, we have joined forces with National Central University (NCU) in Taiwan to address some of the most pressing global energy challenges.
The collaboration was formalised through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of a dynamic partnership aimed at advancing research and innovation in GeoEnergy. The agreement focuses on key areas such as Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Geothermal Energy, promising to leverage the strengths of both universities to accelerate progress in these fields. Beyond research, the MoU includes a commitment to share equipment and facilities, co-supervise PhD students, joint industry projects, enhancing innovation activities and enriching the learning experience for students and early career researchers.
